Andrei is an Associate Partner of Africa Advisory Group. He focuses on developing ‘the Smart Organisation’, a pragmatic, research-based, holistic approach to organisational and talent development that helps the CEO increase their company’s ability to cope with uncertainty. Increased resilience is achieved by integrating organisational structure, talent management and succession planning around natural levels of decision-making complexity. Andrei has used this approach to design better structures and strengthen talent pools in a range of sectors, including banking, retail, mechanical engineering, agriculture and IT services.
In addition, Andrei has experience in executive search and a wide range of leadership advisory work, including individual assessment, senior leadership team workshops, Board effectiveness review, development of corporate values, leadership competency models and financial incentive systems.
Andrei has over 20 years of experience in corporate and advisory roles spanning HR, marketing and operations management in Eastern and Western Europe, including nine years with the London office of Heidrick & Struggles, the global executive search firm.
Andrei has an MA with distinction in Modern Languages from Nizhny Novgorod Linguistic University and an MBA from INSEAD. He is certified in Hogan personality assessment and in decision-making capability assessment by Cognadev.
