Hervé has developed his career across asset management, entrepreneurship, and insurance, with a particular focus on market access, penetration and risks. He has helped large firms such as Merrill Lynch and smaller investment boutiques define strategies and access new markets, including in Africa. Prior to joining Africa Advisory Group, Hervé headed the financial services division of a global search firm in Africa. He was responsible for the placements of C-level executives and he advised CEOs on a wide range leadership and strategic issues. A Cameroonian national, Hervé grew up in Senegal, Djibouti, Cameroon and Switzerland. He holds a BA in History from McGill University, an MA in International Affairs from Geneva’s Graduate Institute of International Studies, and a diploma in banking from ISFB. He is fluent in four languages and represents Cameroon in fencing.
